Trina Roberts is Associate Vice President, Collections at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.  She was Director of the University of Iowa Pentacrest Museums from 2015-2018 and Associate Director of the UI Museum of Natural History from 2011-2015.  Roberts earned her A.B. from Harvard University and her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.  As a postdoctoral researcher at the National Evolutionary Synthesis Center in Durham, North Carolina and the University of Alaska Museum in Fairbanks, Alaska, and as a graduate student at the Field Museum of Natural History, she studied the effect of geography on the evolution of small mammals.  She is surprised (but pleased) to find herself working on games about birds.
