Margaret Gamm is the Assistant head of Special Collections and Curator of Rare Books at the University of Iowa. Gamm is an experienced bibliographic researcher interested in many aspects of special collections management, especially collection development, working with donors and users, exhibit curation, and outreach initiatives. Most recently, she served as a Special Collections Librarian in Acquisitions and Collections Management at Iowa and as a temporary research assistant at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; buyer at the Bookshop of Chapel Hill; and as a Libraries Intern at the Smithsonian Institute. Gamm acquired her MSLS from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and her BA in English and History from the University of Georgia.
